Here is something that we recently read and wanted to share with our community:

“We should change our plan of life during Lent to make it more demanding, more intensive, better suited to a time of special preparation and penance. We may decide to increase the amount of time we spend at certain devotions, or we may choose to add certain devotions to our plans.”

Taken from The How-To Book of Catholic Devotions, our goal is to help families live out their Lent with resources that will help them fulfill the goal of Lent–growing closer to Jesus.

Lent is long and with the short attention spans of small children, it is not surprising that many families feel completely burned out halfway through Lent. But don’t worry–we have something to help prevent that!
